15 Ramadan 1434 AH – Halfway Into Darkness
Had a meeting in Sandakan today. Hopped into the earliest MAS flight and came back on afternoon flight. I tried as much as possible to avoid taking 6pm flight, and would rather take the next flight after that time. That particular flight are from Tawau and prone to being delayed numerous time. There’s this one time I had to wait until 10pm.
Sungkai today we’re having murtabak, curry noodle and ABC.
The highlight of the day is what I did after sungkai. I went for a night ride. It had started again, well actually for a few months now. I just love to cycle, especially when this time, I could actually manage to go 30km/h instead of 20km/h, for only a short burst of time. This is my personal achievement, and I don’t intend to be competitive with the others. Tonight, not so great because I haven’t cycled for more than a month.
It started out when my friend (in green) bought a new head light for her bike and wanted to tried it out. And since I also recently bought a new head light myself, I wanted to try it out too. And the result, other cyclist sees my distinct light from afar; remember I had not cycled for months now, and I could see about 10 meters on dark route, and maybe more. Better than my old one.
What happened to the old one? I think it’s the LED. Dad like it so much because it’s super bright, fell a few times, and one day it stop functioning. So it’s high time to get a new, better model. When some might suggest to get other brand, because it’s more brighter, but to me, as long I can see my way, it’s enough for me.
Till then.
